If I’m running my Axe FX into channels A & B (L output into channel A mono/bridge, and R output into channel B) of the LX II, can I run one cab out of channel A speaker out, or would I need to run two cabs? I’ve tried running mono out of L output into channel A mono/bridge, mono mode and into 16 ohm cab (both standby switches on). It sounded pretty bad. I’ve used the exact settings on my Axe FX 3 into the effects loop of my Fryette PS-100 and it sounded great. Going to try a 8 ohm cab to see if that helps too.
Hi Corey,
Welcome to the forum! So running the amplifier bridged/mono automatically makes the A Input the source. The B input won’t be part of the signal sent to the amplifier. If you are going to bridge the unit, just use the single input (Input A). Yes, you can use the power amp in mono. No, you can’t sum two signals using a power amplifier.
I would make a presets specifically for use with the two units you are using, the LXII, and the PS-100. I would definitely get another cabinet so you can use the LXII and the AXE-FX 3 in their full glory.
I hope that helps,
Thank You,
Terry
