Aether Speaker Replacement

Hi. My Aether is almost a year old, and the speaker is sounding funny. After inspection, I have realized that the speaker magnet is unglued and will spin in place. I believe I need to replace the speaker, how can I do that - installation is not a problem but in your literature it says the Fane A60S is custome voiced for the Aether. Otherwise I would just order a replacement stock A60S.

Welcome to the forum!

We got your message via the support email account and are in contact with Fane. Where are you located?

Thank you.

Is necessary, I can install a new speaker. I would have just bought a replacement, but can’t find the FANE A60 voiced for the Aether - unless its just a standard A60S. Please LMK.

Thanks,

Jorge Wolf

Hi Jorge,

Fryette forum is public. I have removed your personal information from this post. Team Fryette can still view you information by checking the edits.

Gotcha - I didn’t realize that was happening. What do you suggest I do about the speaker? I actually purchased a replacement Fane A60S - not one of yours and it had the same issue so I didn’t even bother installing it. Strange? Maybe a glue problem??

BTW, do u need my S/N?

The best way for you to continue would be with Dave directly using support email. So please follow up there with him. I’ve not had the luxury to get much into speakers yet, so I’d better not speculate, but Dave will know.

What is his direct email address. Also, can I just buy a replacement speaker from you directly. That would solve my issue.

Hi Jorge,

Reach out at support@fryette.com, I think you have already been communicating using that. With communication split between forum and support email it can get confusing. Reply there (again), you can send your address and any speaker-specific questions you have. You could also drop the forum URL so we close the loop.
