Actual wattage output at settings on the PS2A

I have a 100 watt tube amp going into PS2A. I have a 50 watt 212 that I’d like to use via speaker out of the PS2A. I know the output of the PS2A is 50 watts. My question is if the PS2A is at 9:00, (so on 3) how much wattage is it actually putting out to the speaker cab?

Hi @aaronH and welcome to the forum,

There is not a reliable way of mapping between power and dial position because it depends on how much power you are putting into the Power Station and the position of the HI/LO switch. This would be something only test equipment could assess. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. But you are right that because you are using PS-2A (50W) into a 50W cab you will no damage anything.
