A few words about the LX and suggestion

I received my LX II yesterday, which I mounted in a compact and lightweight rack for concerts in good company with a Soldano XR88IR, a Furman, and a small Line6 HX One for ambiance.
The whole thing is killer! The LX takes a good share of the overall quality.
I’m really happy with the quality of this purchase. It’s very expensive, but I’m lucky to be able to do it. It’s my passion, my pleasure, and I only live once.
There’s just one strange thing about the design of this LX, which I’m not the only one to think, but this presence and depth control on the top is a bit of a shame. Okay, okay, I’ve read and seen Fryette’s arguments on this, that these settings don’t really move and that this will prevent incorrect settings when handling the device…
This typical engineer argument is valid if, and only if, you always use the same speaker and always play in the same place.
I don’t know how it works in the United States, but here in Europe, for small bands that tour, we bring our guitars and amps, but almost never our speakers. The organizers and concert halls always have plenty to do. (It’s convenient because our cars aren’t huge! hahaha!!!), and obviously, between the different speakers and the changing acoustics of the stages, these last-minute adjustments are handy to have on hand…not everyone is called Mastodon or the like, and I don’t think the majority of your clients are rock stars who tour with all their gear.

I have a Synergy system in another rack with the Syn 50/50, same basic design, also very good, but a little less dynamic and darker than the LX (the quality of the components is really noticeable compared to the SYn50/50), but it has the user-friendly, easy adjustment in front.

So I would most likely be a customer of the LX III with these front-panel controls! (One can always dream), but customer wishes can make things happen.

In any case, thank you for your work, you’re awesome.
