4cm with the GPDI/IR

I have a snake that’s color coded to use with my Suhr PT15 IR when running 4cm with my FM3. The snake and 4cm works with the Suhr, but when I use the same exact hookup connections with my GPDI/IR, it works but I lose a lot of high end and detail. It sounds more muffled than I’m accustomed to (of course I’ve tried both high/low buttons on the GPDI/IR)

Is this to be expected? I’ve only run 4cm with Suhr amps and I use the basic normal 4cm hookup.

Any help would be appreciated. I’m about to start playing around and experimenting with not using the 4cm and trying 2cm.

The goal is to bring my GPDI/IR to gigs and use the FM3 for effects only (no cab, no poweramp, IEM gig) and then when I’m home or on a gig I can use a cab, I will use my Power Station PS2 for volume.

I’ve used effects in front of the GPDI/IR for a couple gigs and I’ve LOVED the results. Now I’m just trying to sound a little more pro using the efx loop.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

I have chosen to enable an EQ in the effects loop to regain some of the high end I seem to be missing, I don’t know if this is a “natural” solution for 4cm or just my experience. I am still open to all suggestions, but this is at least a fix for now.

Feel free to educate me!

This is what it looks like on the gig when I just go straight in the front
