2 Cabs connected to PS 100

Hi, I own a PS 100 and have a question: I have a Mesa Boogie Mark V35 combo with an additional Thiele cabinet (both speakers are 8 ohms). Since the PS 100 only has one speaker output, my signal path should be as follows: Amp input - Mark V35 (switch set to 8 ohms). Speaker output: into a cab splitter, to both speakers, switch set to 4 ohms (parallell). Is my understanding correct?

Yes, your PS-100 should be 8 Ohms for the amp impedance selector and 4 Ohms for the two speakers connected to the splitter
