I love my PS-2A but I like the knobs on the PS-100 better. I tried removing the knobs with a straight screwdriver and phillips but no luck. Does anyone know how to remove the knobs, or have recommendations for purchasing other knobs. Super important, I know.
Hi @upquarkdownquark and welcome to the forum.
You are an anti-quark away from a pion, bet you weren’t expecting a quantum chromodynamics pun when you came to this forum…
They are probably not identical, but the PS-100 uses something like the Davies 1510. But you will need to pop one off to check the shaft type you need. Usually they have a small screw holding them on. I can’t remember the exact part.
Dan, what a pleasure to encounter someone who even knows what chromodynamics is. You probably also wonder, like I do, how neutrinos could possibly provide the energy for core-collapse supernovas, or marvel at the sun being capable of supporting fusion even though the temperature is much too low.
Anyway, those 1510s are the knobs that I had noticed after searching, thank you!
That does keep up at night and meta-stable vacuum event is destroying the entire universe.
Good luck with the knobs!
