PS2A - Question about keeping both inputs connected

Hi,

I’m considering buying a Power Station PS2A and I have a question about using its two inputs.

I would use it in two different ways:

  1. As an attenuator/load: the power output of one of my tube amps (e.g. Louis Electric) would be connected to the PS2A’s Amp Input, with the appropriate impedance selected.
  2. As a power amp: I would feed a preamp-level signal from my Origin Effects preamp pedals into the PS2A’s Line Input.

My question is: can I leave cables permanently connected to both the Amp Input and the Line Input, and simply use one input or the other depending on the application? Or, when switching between these two uses, should I physically disconnect the unused input to avoid any risk of damage to the PS2A?

In other words, is it completely safe to have both inputs connected simultaneously, provided that only one source is active at a time?
