Recently purchased the PS2A. Very happy with it. My question is:
Can I connect the SMS Classic Tube Preamp to it?
The SMS has a single 1/4" unbalanced output. I assume to use a standard 1/4" instrument cable from there to the PS2A Line In? Match the speaker out impedence to my cab.
Amp in will not be used?
If I can do this would you know the correct/best/or multiple way to connect it to the PS2A.
Would I get different results if more than one way to do it.
Would the line out be usable from the PS2A with this connection for connection to an interface?
Can I also use the PS2A FX loop in this configuration?
Any other info about this that I may not have asked would be appriciated.
I will be running a 2 speaker 4ohm cab.

Yes, this is exactly how it should be connected and the only option for you.
You could also connect to the RX return but Line In is the right choice for a preamp.
