One of my uses for my PS-2 is as a power amp for my Fractal with guitar and a Mesa Recto cab. I occasionally play bass and was wondering if it was safe to use the same setup with PS-2 except swapping the guitar cab for a bass cab. I know that it might not be enough volume, but I wanted to see if it was safe to try.

Yes, it’s safe to use the PS-2 line in to re-amp a bass guitar/preamp. If you notice any distortion on really low notes, you should probably reduce the volume of the PS-2.
Just in case someone searches for this and lands here: I would not recommend using the Power Station as a reactive load for a bass amplifier because it’s not designed for that (low frequencies make the reactive load work harder).
