Hi Steve,
I understand, let’s try and avoid unnecessary shipping. Yes, open it up and check the internal fuses. This should be helpful What fuses do I need for the Power Station PS-2 and PS-100?
Opening it will not void the warranty, don’t worry we are not animals.
When you open it, please look careful at all components you can see, look for anything that might have gotten too hot and burnt. This will be a major clue. Take a look at the parts underneath the fans too and follow those wires to where they go to the boards. If you see anything suspicious please share a photo.
If the fuses have blow I suspect the tubes. If the fuses are fine then you should ship it for a warranty repair because the issue is somewhere else and that will need a service to fix.
Regards
Dan
