Is the transformer on the 2150 multi tap?

Hello, I’m interested in buying a 2150 in Europe that’s in U.S. voltage. Is the transformer in the 2150 multi tap, so that I can run it at normal European voltages?

Depends on when it was made. A serial number and a bottom inside photo would help.

Am I correct in that it needs a new power transformer to run at European voltages, and if so, is that a part that I can source from Fryette?

Hi Chris,

Dave will know about possible replacements, but if not, you could purchase an external power converter/transformer. I’m from UK and used of these transformers for my 60’s Champ so I could keep it all original. You will be able to find similar products in your location.

Sorry, it’s been literally decades since that part was made. They rarely failed so what small number of replacements were made have long since become unavailable.
