Can I run GPDI/IR into the front of a clean amp that doesn’t have an effects loop. Using the GPDI as a sort of preamp pedal? And, if so, how best to connect it?

Welcome to the forum.

I would recommend you use the FX Send to connect to the front end of your amp.

It would help a lot to know which amp we’re talking about. And if it’s a combo, which speaker?

Thanks! Its just an old Line 6 modeling amp. It has a line and aux in which I’ll use for the Fryette for now til I get a cab or frfr… just was curious if I could run it in to the front too for giggles.
