Amp Volume affecting overall volume with ZMACS and PS2a

Is it normal for the amps master volume to have an effect on the overall rig volume when the amp is connected to the ZMACS and a PS2a in the loop? The amp master volume and the PS2a volume appears to increase the overall volume of my rig. I can’t recall it behaving like this in the past.

Hi @Yzman

This sounds normal to me. The master volume is controlling how much power is delivered to speaker/load. So when you turn it up the levels should change.

If I have missed something, the please give me a few more details of the signal path etc.

Thanks Dan, I appreciate the quick answer. I haven’t used it in a while and had it set and rarely changed any settings for the majority of the time I’ve had it so couldnt remember. Love Fryette gear. Best setup I’ve ever had 4 amps 4 cabs, ZMACS, PS2a , Cyclops and quad cortex, amazing!
