2nd speaker out to cab from PS-2a while recording direct

Thanks dan. Visuals always help me.

Self-attenuation seems like it might be great subject to add to the manual to cut down on these types of questions IMO. i have seen the videos but i have not seen one asking about the addition of a cab.

I did see this thread where the person was doing what i plan to do BUT this person used the same impedance on the AMP IN (reactive load) and the SPKR OUT.

I was under the impression that when a speaker cable is connected to SPKR OUT ONE, the RL part of the PS is Bypassed and without a speaker cable connected to SPKR OUT ONE, the RL cannot be Bypassed. This is done to avoid damage to the connected amp as in the RL part of the PS cannot be Bypassed no matter what to avoid damaging the amp.

The SPEAKER 1 jack has an open load protection feature. If no cable is connected to this jack the Power Station will remain locked in BYPASS/STANDBY mode regardless of the front panel Standby switch setting.

I saw that thread after my last post and I thought that maybe the switch settings should be the same after all like in that thread.

So the RL is not Bypassed ever?
