I looking to buy another Zmac for my home setup. I have questions that I can’t get an answer on. First, will the one PS100 attenuate the two Zmacs or will have two but two?
Second, if I have heads & cabs 1/4 on Zmac 1 , and heads & cabs 5/8 with Zmac 2 will I be able to use head 6 with cab 3 from the two different Zmacs?

You can link two ZMACS together by connecting LINK of one to the INPUT (back panel) of the other. This is sending your guitar level signal from one ZMACS to the other. From then on, they behave as independent units.
Whether you need a second PS-100 depends on the setup. If you want 7 (amps) x 4 (speakers) then you only need one PS-100. This is application example 6 in the user manual

You cannot accomplish general 8x8 routing with two ZMACS 4x4.
Think of them as two independent ZMACS that share the instrument-level input.
You can send speaker-level signals one way by connecting the TO SPEAKER CAB on ZMAC #1 to FROM AMP OUT on ZMACS #2 like in the application examples, so if you have free jacks, there are some additional combinations possible.
Thanks Dan for the reply, just to be clear. I can use my PS100 with two Zmacs but only limited to 7 heads and four cabs? (I have about 7 cabs)
Yeah basically, because PS-100 is driving your cabs it limits you to 4 cabs. But you can make a speaker level connection between the ZMAC 1 and 2 this allows you match in an additional 3 heads from the first ZMACS (one speaker output is used up connecting the ZMACS 1 to 2).
You have 3 free speaker outputs in the first ZMACS that can be used, that would make 7. But they will not route through the PS-100 so you will have volume issues.
However, now I think about this more clearly. If you move the Power Station to the first ZMACS that will attenuate all levels… let me get back to you to see if there is away is way of enabling 7 cabs with one power station ….
Yeah that around be awesome. I want to buy another Zmac, this might push me over to buying another.
